Local celebrities celebrate Founders Day at Achieve!

Little Rock, AR – On Friday, June 20, joy and laughter filled the air as local celebrities and big-hearted volunteers from KARK and Nexstar Media Group spent the day celebrating Nexstar’s Founder’s Day with Achieve Kids and Achieve Life. We were honored to be chosen as one of the local nonprofits they supported during this special occasion!

The day kicked off with six enthusiastic volunteers joining our little ones at Achieve Kids for an unforgettable Water Play Day. Giggles echoed across the playground as preschoolers and school-age children dashed through sprinklers, engaged in epic water gun battles, and soaked up every moment of fun. Later in the afternoon, the celebration continued at Achieve Life, where another group of volunteers brought the house down with a lively round of Family Feud and crowd-pleasing karaoke sessions that had everyone smiling from ear to ear.

It was a day filled with connection, joy, and community spirit. We’re deeply thankful to KARK and Nexstar Media for choosing to spend their Founder’s Day making memories with us—and for showing just how powerful giving back can be.
